Highlights
Foil highlighting is a great way to add dimension and brightness to your hair. This technique involves using foil to isolate select strands of hair, which are then lightened to create eye-catching contrast. Our skilled stylist will apply lightener to these separated sections, before carefully folding the foil to protect the surrounding hair. The result? Gorgeous, multi-tonal dimension that's sure to turn heads.
Highlights do not just lighten hair. We can add some interest to your hair colour and style by adding any shade you desire. The frequency of touch-ups for your highlights depends on your natural hair growth. Typically, most people visit our Lincoln salon every 4 to 8 weeks to keep their highlights looking fresh and vibrant.

Balayage
Balayage is the art of hand-painting highlights onto your hair, resulting in a beautiful, soft transition to lighter tones at the ends. It's a gorgeous, low-maintenance hair colour that looks natural and lasts a long time.
With balayage, you'll enjoy less noticeable regrowth lines and delicate, seamless transitions between colours which means clients can often go for 3-4 months before returning for a refresh. The longevity of your balayage depends on factors like your root colour, hair growth rate, and how well you care for your hair between salon visits. A partial balayage typically takes around 45 to 90 minutes to complete, while a full balayage can take anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours This unique hand-painted technique ensures that no two balayage are the same!
Full Head Colour / Root Colour
Full head colour involves applying colour to the roots, mid-lengths, and ends, while root colour is specifically applied to the regrowth at the roots. Whether you're looking for a complete transformation, a touch-up, or covering those pesky roots, you can use any colour for the job.
Our colourist can create a wide range of colours from bold reds to pretty pastel pinks or classic shades of blonde, brown or auburn. Your hair colour will typically lasts about 6-8 weeks but, if you're covering a lot of grey hair, it might not last as long.
If you fancy something a little different, why not try a hidden colour where you only see the shade when your hair is in a ponytail or upstyle. Or perhaps a rainbow of colours fits your unique sense of style.
It only takes 30 minutes to apply a full head and root colour, but keep in mind that the time may vary based on the length and thickness of your hair.
